Lisbon Under the Stars
Until June 30th Carmo’s Ruins receive an immersive and multidisciplinary spectacle that aims to enhance the culture and heritage of Lisbon.
OCUBO returns with another extraordinary production, this time at the Carmo Ruins which has proven to be the ideal stage for the new show called “Lisbon Under the Stars”.
In an institutional partnership with the Carmo Archaeological Museum the show provides a new way of experiencing the city’s history in a multidisciplinary experience that brings together multimedia projections, virtual dancers and visual effects, to the sound of great Portuguese music.
Carmo's own walls are transformed into a three-dimensional screen, showing us this 600 year old adventure of the city and Portugal narrated by Catarina Furtado.
Historical landmarks as the Battle of Aljubarrota, the Age of Discovery, the earthquake of 1755 or “Cravos” Revolution are just some of the moments that are part of this unique show.
Every day at 9.30 pm and 10.45 pm, take a look.
