Festival ao Largo 2020
From July 10th to July 25th, the Palácio da Ajuda hosts, for the first time, an edition of “Festival ao Largo”, where music, singing, and theater are celebrated in a combination that embraces the whole musical universe.
This is the event’s 12th edition and, as in previous years, it has the participation of the Orquestra Sinfónica Portuguesa, from the Coro do Teatro Nacional.
“Festival ao Largo” will live under the theme of Joy, organized by Opart, with the participation of artistic bodies from the Orquestra Sinfónica Portuguesa, the Coro do Teatro Nacional and dancers from CNB.
There will also be a theater performance, in partnership with the Teatro Nacional D. Maria II, the Teatro Municipal de São Luiz and the Orquestra de Câmara de Cascais e Oeiras.
In terms of dance, a participation of the Companhia Nacional de Bailado is scheduled for July 23rd, 24th, and 25th of, with choreographies rethought in a way to have fewer dancers on stage and virtually no contact between them.
